Providing needy children with cozy hats to keep them warm is what Caps for Kids is all about. Nearly one million caps, along with other children's accessories, have been knitted and crocheted by volunteers since the program began. The Sweater project has collected more than 200,000 sweaters. They have been sent all over the world. Romania, Turkey and Kosovo are some of the latest destinations that the sweaters have been shipped. The joy that this project has created for the children who receive our sweaters is immeasurable. |
Cubs for Kids provides "dressed" bear cubs to homeless children across the country. Cubs for Kids provides the bear cub and a pattern for the sweater, hat & scarf. You provide your creativity and extra yarn. |
